Point to Point Horse Racing

Point to Point racing is a form of amateur National Hunt racing.  The name Point to Point originates from a time when horses would race between church steeples across country.

Races are held from early November until mid-June on a variety of courses throughout the country.  It is a great family day out and all are welcome, including dogs.  Most courses have food and drink facilities but many take the opportunity to enjoy a picnic with family and friends.

There is no dress code but check the weather before you leave the house!! A warm coat and wellies is a must during the winter months but if you're lucky you may need the sun cream later in the season.

Tickets are always available on the gate so you can join in whenever you like.  Bookmakers are located on site for when you're feeling lucky.
